St Etienne
St Etienne wasn't there for a portrait. He just happened to be around.
But some people you notice right away — the camera likes them before they've even tried. No posing, no tension in front of the lens, just an ease that's hard to fake.
I asked if he'd want to take a few shots. No preparation, no pressure to perform, nothing to get right.
He said yes as naturally as if nothing was happening at all. No direction, no arranged pose — just being himself, and that was enough.
This is something The Tiny Studio believes in: the best photos are rarely the planned ones. They happen the moment someone relaxes, booked in advance or not.
St Etienne proved it. Sometimes ease is its own kind of presence.
